A die electric is an insulating textile that doesn't conduct electricity. The "Die Electric" experiment makes use of this material to create products that ironically require you to plug them in. Examples are a power string twisted to form a shelf, a plant potter that looks suspended when plugged in, and a toothbrush holder fabricated from a wrapped cable.
